"Circumstances and situations do colour life, but you have been given the mind to choose what the colour shall be."-John Homer Miller. Darci Lang tells some great stories about how herself and others have used this strategy to change their family, personal and work life.

Key Take-aways: Train your mind like you train your body.
This book really gets you into the mind of an athlete with some great tips on the power of visualization and developing your mind to tackle any task. It is important to guard your self-talk because you can only outperform your self image.  We seem to shy away from failure but if you view failure as feedback then it doesn't become a mistake. This is an easy read with great strategies and tips to achieve your best mentally!

Key Take-aways: This is a great personal development book for reaching some inner goals.
Each chapter has it's own theme but I will focus on the one law, the Law of Attraction. Thoughts become things. 1)Ask- ask the universe what you want. 2) Believe- know it to be true. 3) Receive- feel the way you feel when it arrives now, when you visualize you materialize.
Think of abundance in all areas and be growth conscious. This is really an amazing book and is one I would read yearly to remind myself how I can be the best version of myself.
